This is one of ten pieces I did for the new Star Wars Essential Guide to Warfare. I had a blast working on it and I'm excited that I am able to contribute to the Star Wars universe.
I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the book. Hope you guys enjoy them!
This is the last piece from Warfare. The Hutts now maintain fleets of warships, shifting their philosophy of economic dominance to a more military one, ever since their Empire was almost destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong invasions.
Everything in this is completely new and never-before-seen. I was given the honor of designing the various Hutt ships from scratch based on relatively vague descriptions from the novels. You can see 4 classes of warships in here; frigate, destroyer, transport/carrier and battle-cruiser and all of them have the distinctive red sails, which I took inspiration form Jabba's Sail Barge. Admiring his fleet is a Hutt commander and his cronies.

I've read the Essential Guide to Warfare! And could not imagine that I would find such an amazing artist in Deviantart (Maybe in falling in heresy?)! I have just fell in love with you artworks, I don't know how to describe the impresive and unsurpassed magnificence of you artworks... Your lightnings, your detail you strokes, everything is perfect... I don't know how I dare to draw being such talented, and true artists, as yourself. Added to favs. I always loved those glorious fat lords that are the Hutts. I liked how you added the sails of Jabba's barge as a distinctive symbol of their starships, they also remind me the sail of Dooku's starship. And the duro! I don't have much more to say, or how to express my admiration to your work, but it is impresive.

How many people can say that?
