Here's a rare fan art piece I did of Mrs Skywalker. She's one of the coolest female leads in the Star Wars mythos but its too bad she died in the novels.

Notice she's using Luke's original lightsaber, the one he lost when he fought Vader, which he than retrieved later on and gave it to Mara.

Grand rendering. One of my fave characters too. And her death scene was handled SO contemptuously, IMHO. Especially when you realize they gave it to Miss "I Hate Jedis" Travis. :facepalm:

*Spoiler for Legacy of the Force below*

I actually found her death scene to be one of the most stunning ones in the Star Wars history, even though she was not really one of my favourite characters (def. one of the best female ones though).

Just reading Lukes reaction to it still sends chills down my spine, such a horrible thing... especially when you have read all the books before that and know how extremely close the two of them are, how loving and caring their relationship is, to have it broken like that...

One of the breathtaking Mara I've ever seen, fantastic job ! Her hair are just incredible and the rest of the body seems terribly realistic *-* Totally love it ! (But I spoiled myself when I read the description... Oh God, why didn't I finished the Thrawn trilogy before checking for fan art ? :dummy: )
