Lost Tribe of the Sith by wraithdt Lost Tribe of the Sith by wraithdt
Hi guys! This is a new set of 12 artworks I did for the new Star Wars Essential Reader's Companion. Although the dateline for this book was a lot tighter it nevertheless was an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

As with the last book I will be posting them in the order of sequence as it appears in the Reader's Companion. Enjoy!

This first piece is from a new book, called Lost Tribe Of The Sith: Precipice. I have next to zero knowledge about this story except that the women riding the flying beast is Adari Vaal and the two Sith fighting each other are members of Naga Sadow's Sith empire.

Copyright of Lucasfilm Ltd.
Published by Del Rey, an imprint of Random House Publishing Group, a division of Random House, Inc.

You can get the book here >> [link]

This must be after Naga Sadows empire fell, because the woman is a Chiss and they where not known or introduced to the rest of the galaxy until the the new empire found them after Naga`s death

First off awesome!! I've read The Lost Tribe collected stories so much appreciated. In case anyone wants background info: These Sith crash landed on the planet Kesh. The natives there are called Keshiri are humanoid, and have lavender skin(artist hit the nail on the head it's as if he painted how I pictured Vaal when I was reading) The Sith basically enslaved the Keshiri although it was quite easy. They thought they were the Protectors that fell from the sky yada yada yada. The ship is called Omen and the Sith Lord in charge was Lord Taalon. They get trapped for 5,000 years due to there being no space faring aircraft on Kesh. Until one day a Sith Meditation Sphere named Ship goes to the Sith apprentice Vestara Khai... sorry if too long if anyone wants more info let me know

amazing i am so glad they let the lost tribe books get artwork (still disappointed splinter of the mind's eye didnt get some i mean COME ON it was the very first EU novel guys! and had such potential for awsome art) your Uvak design would fit right into the films next to the likes of Boga the varactyl (Obi-Wan's mount in Revenge of the Sith ) bravo!

This is cool! That flying beast looks like a dinosaur, or perhaps a pterosaur. I've always wanted to learn more about the Lost Tribe of the Sith, who are the relics (and later descendants) of Naga Sadow's Sith Empire.

i would strongly recommend picking up the lost tribe of the sith the collected stories book [link] and the Lost Tribe of the Sith—Spiral comic book series [link] (which needs all the support it can get right now) both are VERY good in my opinion i had always wanted to see jedi/sith bound to a single primitive planet and i got my wish (and and the pterosaur-ish critter is an Uvak [link] )
