Hashashin by wraithdt Hashashin by wraithdt
Inspired by the upcoming game by Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed and my love for medieval history.

A Syrian Assassin in on the run and he dispatches a crusader knights along the way. In back alleys of a middle east town. Done entirely in Photoshop CS.

Crits and comments are welcome.

I like the drawing, but in reality he'd get his shit pushed in. Knights aren't pushovers.

I'm not sure anyone would wear a fully enclosed helmet for long periods of time, due to the possibility of overheating and, well, attack, particularly when flatfooted in an enclosed area. Still, you're a better artist than I am.

Ah! Ah! Ah! Someone help me I NEED TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS! WOAAARRRGH!

Now I'm calm. Hey, the lady-of-the-window touch was something!

Ah, and the crusader took some arrows... from who? Are there any other assassins, or this Syrian was so fast he could release two before gut the man.

Astonishing piece. I could look at it for hours...

I think the lady in the window really made this picture for me, strange as that may sound. She adds a layer of reality to it that a lot of 'action' pictures lack. Awesome work!

sry but you dont know anything about the hashashin. they were originally from persia, or present day iran. they were founded by hassan-i sabbah, also a persian. their main stronghold, alamut is also in iran, still there today. they expanded and had many forts across the middle east, but never in india. the main assassins were persian as well. but their targets ranged from all over to middle east to europe. they have nothing to do with ninjas, who are completely different. most things attributed to ninjas today were actually the hashashin. the ninjas were mostly spies. also, their use of hash has been ruled out as a common myth by historians, one started by marco polo whos recollection of his visit to alamut was very questionable. please do some proper research.
