I like your pictures, because there normally very realistic, but... Even if she has left as her favorite hand, she can not wield a hellbard in one hand. There to bulky. And why is there no armor under her arms ? There is an artery. It has to be protected, or the whole armor is useless. Same at her solar plexus. O.o

Your pictures are very good, even in details - why is this an exception ? :-/

Super cool! She looks like a knight of Osgiliath. And only a true badass would duel wield a sword and a goddamn halberd!

I love chicks in armor! Anymore? Thanks for the fav by the way.

Absolutely fantastic in terms of coloring and detail-richness. The only minus is the armor design (seriously... why wear an armor at all if the vulnerable armpit is not covered?). If you had given her a practical armor I'd pay any price to own this.
Xlavok Featured By Owner Nov 27, 2013
Ummm....unrealistically impractical armor there which society has a bad habit of depicting women warriors as.
sinatro Featured By Owner Dec 27, 2013  Hobbyist Writer
Actually it's far more practical than a lot of armor people are rendering women in. the only part that makes me unhappy is the grieves having high heels.
Xlavok Featured By Owner Dec 28, 2013
That's what I was especially referring to actually.
bikergeez Featured By Owner Sep 8, 2013

Absolutely fantastic. Very atmospheric.

Always loved this piece. Kinda has a Joan of Arc quality about it.

This is truely a great painting !
You're a very skilled artist, and you got good reference, it's obvious !

There is just few things disturbing for me
If it ad to be realistic (according to your style and the big part of the armor.
Ad a gambeson for her, this way the armor won't hurt her beautifull skin =D ;) and the halberd head is to big (but the shape is f****** great ! )
Perhaps too much heels
And , okay here i'm becoming touchy.. if we can see here helmet somewere on the pic that can be great!
(any > ad this marvelous work to his favorite)

Keep going ! =D

I always liked the GURPS magic item, Chainmail Bikini. The "mail" is all there, its just parts are invisible due to magic, so it fully protects you. ^^

Might explain her missing armor bits too.

Very NICE picture.
gregory-fleury Featured By Owner Feb 25, 2013  Hobbyist Photographer
There is a rule for that : the protection is inversely proportionnal to the surface of chainmail ^^
OrdonCrane Featured By Owner Feb 8, 2013
Reminds me of some Soul Calibur armor. What did you use as a reference?

Awesome character! Such nice sheen on the armour. Are you going to make a version with armour over the vunrable spots?

One word: BEAST.
TURNIP-SLOP Featured By Owner Aug 8, 2012  Hobbyist Photographer
A chick with armour that covers her WHOLE BODY??????!?!?! What is this Madness?? but seriously this is awesome - she looks badass, I wouldn't mess with her :P Are we going to be seeing more from her or is this a one-off?
whitetower-exe Featured By Owner Aug 11, 2012  Student Digital Artist
Whole body EXCEPT for the heart + lung region, because that's also where the cleavage is ;)

But yes, I otherwise agree!
TURNIP-SLOP Featured By Owner Aug 13, 2012  Hobbyist Photographer
I honestly hadn't spotted that until you mentioned it :P Still it looks a darn sight better than most women's fantasy armour so hats off to you sir ;)
whitetower-exe Featured By Owner Aug 13, 2012  Student Digital Artist
Yeah, it is well done, and the pieces ARE authentic, she's just missing one. I totally understand what the artist did and why they did it, but people need to be informed before they can make these decisions. The artist selectively modified historic armour to be more attractive, rather than designing something completely fake.
wraithdt Featured By Owner Aug 15, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
You know if it were entirely a personal piece I'd cover her up completely but like I said this was done for Heavy Metal Magazine; the readership expects some cleavage.

Interestingly you made a pretty accurate observation about my methodology for armor design.
whitetower-exe Featured By Owner Aug 16, 2012  Student Digital Artist
^.^ Excellent, and I have quite a lot of respect for you, either way. You can ALWAYS tell when someone knows what they're doing, or if they're only pretending. Onya, mate :)
dashinvaine Featured By Owner Aug 8, 2012
Armour high heels with spurs are cool.
yamashta Featured By Owner Aug 6, 2012  Hobbyist General Artist
this bitch almost knows how to wear armor, unlike the other one.

this one needs a lot to learn but she could sure help that other lady in her super stab-able outfit.
